The Sony M-645V Microcassette Voice Recorder is a small, compact microcassette recorder that is ready to go right out the box. It comes with a charger, AC adaptor, and rechargeable batteries. Sony's Clear Voice function improves recording quality through the built-in microphone and the built-in speaker is perfect for tape playback. The cue/review function makes it easy to check what you've just recorded and if you're in a hurry, the M-645V has a fast playback function that plays recordings 20-percent faster than normal.

To reduce recording dead air, Sony delivers with the advanced voice operated recording (VOR) feature that actually stops recording during silent pauses, saving valuable recording time. This recorder features a three-LED battery level indicator, a three-digit tape counter, and jacks that provide a connection for microphones, earphones, and AC/DC power.
